We believe that it is not enough to meet the needs of families through donations and aid, it is necessary to change the paradigm of aid and development policies. We believe it is also a vital concern to change how people understand the family in God's design. This is perhaps the only possibility for constructing an authentic future of peace, threatened by cultural, religious, and political differences. The inception of the Global Institute for Family Integrity (GIFIin 2014) is fittingly in the year of the family as proclaimed by the Holy Father.
The purpose of GIFI is to offer professional/counseling services to the Society the Mission statement is Building a vibrant social system by Empowering Families. Broadly, our vision is to achieve the following:
• Develop mechanisms to analyse the impact of all laws, policies and programs on Family stability and autonomy.
• To provide cross-sectorial and social inclusive services to the community.
• To ensure social safety for breakdown families/communities.
• To enhance the role of the Family towards the sustainable development goals
• To enable young people to cultivate responsible relationships, and citizen – mindedness so as to ensure stable marital Union.
